According to the 1860 census (dated June 5), Florence was nine months old so her birth date appears to be around October 1859. It also lists her as having been born in Indiana.
Another record indicates that she was born in 1856 in Hardin, Roundhead County, Ohio; however, Roundhead County does not appear to have ever existed.
