There is a problem with the birthdates for Sarah and her brother Jacob Baker. Jacob's birthday, as listed in the family Bible of Jacob Baker's family shows his birthday as July 1, 1844. My source for Sarah lists her date of birth as April 7, 1844. At this point, there is no official government record of birth for either one. If additional information is found, the dates will be corrected.

Sarah married Jefferson Hockersmith, son of Unknown and Unknown. (Jefferson Hockersmith was born on 13 Mar 1838 in Indiana, died on 22 Jan 1914 in Decatur County, Indiana and was buried in Eddelman Cemetery, Westport, Decatur, Indiana.)
