Wilma J. Falconbury ¹

Wilma J. Falconbury Woods, 65, Roachdale, died Wednesday morning at Hendricks Community Hospital, Danville. Born Nov. 27, 1936 in Hendricks County, she was the daughter of Virgil and Anna (White) Falconbury. She attended North Salem schools and was employed in the housekeeping department at Hendricks County Senior Services. She married William W. Woods, and he preceded her in death. Survivors include two sons, William K. Woods, New Maysville, and Elmer W. Woods, McHenry, Ill.; five sisters, Mary Pierce, Franklin, Helen Burdine, Roachdale, Doris Boller, North Salem, Betty Nichels, Hoopston, Ill., and Caroline Hedge, Roachdale; two brothers, Gene Falconbury, West Lebanon, and James Falconbury, New Ross; and two grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Jay P. Woods. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Porter Funeral Home, North Salem. Pastor Lloyd Warren will officiate. There will be no visitation.
