Jefferson Hockersmith ^{1 2}

The 1910 census of Decatur County, Indiana, shows Jefferson and Sarah living in Sandcreek Township with two granddaughters: Ethel, age 10, and Anna, age 6. They came to live with their grandparents after the deaths of their parents, James Henry and Augusta Hockersmith.

Jefferson married Sarah Ann Falconbury, daughter of Joseph Falconbury and Margaret Holmes. (Sarah Ann Falconbury was born on 7 Apr 1844 in Indiana, died on 28 Oct 1913 in Decatur County, Indiana and was buried in Eddelman Cemetery, Westport, Decatur, Indiana.)
