James Henry Hockersmith ^{1 2}

My original data on James Henry indicated that he died Sep 13, 1923; however, more recent information from Stephanie Edwards indicates that he died in 1903. A tombstone in the Rockcreek Cemetery bears that date. Stephanie writes that her grandmother Anna went to live with her grandparents after the deaths of her parents. The 1910 federal census for Decatur County, Indiana, shows that Ethel (age 10) and Anna (age 6) are in the household of Jefferson and Sarah.

James married Augusta Evans in 1883. (Augusta Evans died before 1910.)
