There are two Kentucky land grant records for "Wm R. Falconberry". It is unclear if this was William Riley Senior or Junior. In 1876, the elder would have been around 43 and the younger around 17. In 1880, their ages would have been approximately 47 and 21. For the time being, I will connect these two listings with father although it is possible that the second listing belongs to the son.

He was the grantee of 40 acres of land at Fishing Creek in Casey County, Kentucky (survey date, Feb 22, 1876; Recorded in Book 96, Page 378). He was also the grantee of 20 acres of land at Fishing Creek in Casey County (survey date, Aug 26, 1880; Recorded in Book 99, Page 478). William married Sarah Sally Barnett in 1852 in Lincoln County, Kentucky.1 (Sarah Sally Barnett was born in Jul 1835 and died before 1910.)

bullet  Marriage Notes:

According to the compilation of marriage records by Jordan Dodd, William Riley Falconbury and Sarah Sally Barnett were married on April 29, 1855. However, according to the 1900 Federal Census, the couple was listed as having been married for 48 years, which would make 1852 the year of their marriage.

Their first daughter, Nancy, was born about 1854. Taking that into consideration, I decided that the information on the census record, having probably been given personally by Sally or William (and who should have been in a position to know), was more credible than Mr. Dodd's compilation.
