Jacob Falconbury Jr 1
- Born: 5 Nov 1809, Kentucky
- Marriage (1): Ann Carman on 12 Oct 1831 in Kentucky
- Marriage (2): Mary Hamilton on 21 Mar 1839 in Casey County, Kentucky
- Died: 5 Nov 1875, Kentucky at age 66
I originally listed Jacob Falconbury, Jr. as the son of Jacob Senior due in large part to the fact that his death certificate listed him as such. However, it appears that the same document listed his birthplace as South Carolina although he was born in Kentucky. After reading Jacob Falconbury 1757-1844 by Lyman F. Reynolds and looking at his reasons for believing Jacob Jr was the grandson of Jacob Sr, I was persuaded to make the change and list Jacob Jr as the son of William.
Jacob (last name listed as Falconberry) was the grantee of 100 acres of land at Knob Lick Creek in Casey County, Kentucky (survey date, Feb 26, 1836; Recorded in Book 1-2, Page 240).
Also listed as the grantee of 50 acres of land at Knob Lick Creek in Casey County. (survey date Feb 26, 1836; Recorded in Book K-2, Page 235) Source: The Kentucky Land Grants, Volume 1, Part 1: Chapter VI Kentucky Land Warrants (1816-1873), The Counties of Kentucky. Page 546.

Jacob married Ann Carman, daughter of William Carman and Sarah Quine, on 12 Oct 1831 in Kentucky. (Ann Carman was born about 1808 in Casey County, Kentucky.)
Jacob next married Mary Hamilton, daughter of Martin Hamilton and Susannah Routsaw, on 21 Mar 1839 in Casey County, Kentucky. (Mary Hamilton was born on 13 Aug 1823 in Casey County, Kentucky, died on 15 Feb 1905 and was buried in Falconberry Cemetery, Walltown, Casey County, Kentucky.)
